You play as Aiden, an adventurous college student with an affinity for all things aquatic. After a boating accident leaves you stranded on a beach, you seek help at a nearby hotel, the Sublime Wave Resort. Upon entering the building, you discover that the place is empty. There are no guests or staff anywhere in sight.
