The game begins with the mangaka Naoki being pulled by an unknown evil force into the Manga World in front of his son (either Hikaru Sakurai, a Sunday fan, or Kento Tooyama, a Magazine fan, depending of the player's choice) and Honoka Isurugi. Hajime Kindaichi (from Kindaichi Case Files) and Conan Edogawa (from Detective Conan) appear and they give Naoki's son the White Comic, which can be used to summon manga characters to attack enemies and other purposes, and he and Honoka are sent to the Manga World to save Naoki. In the search for Naoki, he meets several manga characters and becomes able to summon them with the White Comic, and he fights against the MS Team, a group of villains that also have books with powers similar to the White Comic and aim to use manga power to change the world.
