Short Description A turn-based deckbuilding roguelike where the rules of the world become increasingly distorted as Chaos deepens. Journey through a world inspired by Korean folklore and traditional culture, build your deck with the distinct combat styles of the Hwarang, Namsadang, and Shaman, collect relics and talismans, and uncover the secrets of an ever-changing world. About This Game Record of Chaos -Korea- is a turn-based deckbuilding roguelike based on Korean folklore and traditional culture. The power of chaos has begun to shake both the human world and the realm of the gods. Choose one of three characters—the Hwarang, Namsadang, or Mudang—and navigate an ever-changing path as you face monsters and divine beings from Korean folklore. Collect Cards, Relics, and Talismans, choose your routes and events, and advance toward the source of chaos with a deck and strategy of your own. Discover 253 Cards, 116 Relics, and 38 Talismans to shape a strategy of your own. Face 78 monster types inspired by Korean folklore and find new paths to victory with every journey. Each battle unfolds in turns, with you playing cards using the Energy available to you. Check the enemy's intent first, then decide the order in which to play Attack, Defense, and Ritual Cards. Victory earns you card rewards and Yeopjeon coins. From there, choose your next path among nodes such as normal battles, elite battles, rest sites, events, treasure, and traveling merchants. Greater rewards come with greater risks, while safer paths may offer fewer opportunities to grow. Add, upgrade, and remove cards, acquire Relics, and use Talismans to build a deck unique to each journey. Even with the same character, your combat style changes depending on the cards you choose and the paths you take. Even the same choice can produce a random effect when Chaos takes hold. Whether the result helps or hinders your journey is something you will have to discover for yourself. Chaos Cards combine powerful effects with dangerous drawbacks. Defeat bosses or pass through certain events to transform them into Purified Cards with no drawbacks. At critical moments, Ultimate Techniques and the Chronicle of Great Figures can open a new path forward. Ultimate Techniques are powerful tools that can turn the tide of battle. Before a boss fight, the Chronicle of Great Figures lets you choose a historical figure; fulfill their condition to activate a special effect. These systems help newcomers keep their journey going, while giving experienced deckbuilding players more strategic options. Character — Hwarang The Namsadang builds the flows of Salpan, Beona, and Pungmul by playing Attack, Defense, and Ritual Cards. Completing a flow grants an effect that strengthens the next action, so success depends on deciding which card should receive the boost. Character — Namsadang The Namsadang builds the flows of Salpan, Beona, and Pungmul by playing Attack, Defense, and Ritual Cards. Completing a flow grants an effect that strengthens the next action, so success depends on deciding which card should receive the boost. Character — Mudang The Mudang's basic cards are less powerful, but Sal curses steadily wear enemies down while Divine Power unleashes potent effects. Because the Mudang must manage both Energy and Divine Power, this character demands the most careful resource management of the three. We have carried the defining qualities of Korean folklore and traditional culture beyond names and appearances, embedding them throughout the game's systems. From the look and combat patterns of monsters to the Cards, Relics, events, motifs, music, and interface, every element has been designed to connect naturally within a Korean-inspired world.
