lichtung is a 12-minute VR experience about light, perception, and quiet discovery. You find yourself in a dark forest only equipped with a flashlight in your hand. What you choose to illuminate slowly comes to life: drifting pollen, floating mushroom creatures, subtle movements in the trees. The forest reveals itself through your curiosity. The world combines hand-drawn 2D animated creatures with a spatial 3D forest environment. The black-and-white forest gradually transforms as you explore. An evolving spatial soundscape accompanies your journey, growing richer as the world awakens around you.
